Another Gift for Crafty Friends

I’ve been enjoying making little gifts for crafty friends lately, so today I’m sharing my take on an adult crayon box all dressed up for Fall.  This box design is quick to assemble and super cute for autumn-themed gifts.

I started out by cutting this beautiful crayon box design by Snapdragon Snippets in the Silhouette Online Store from some thick patterned paper (Authentique’s Thankful collection).  Instead of tossing out the negative leaf cut from the outer accent layer (plaid), I used it as a tag for my gifts.
The crayon box is the perfect size for 16 crayons, a deck of cards, or about 4 gelatos (5 will fit, but it’s a bit tight if you want to add anything else).  I picked a couple of gelatos in autumn colors and packaged them with a couple of different types of cardstock for the recipient to play with as well.
The box itself goes together very quickly, needing glue on only one side if you choose not to adhere the second decorative layer.   To finish it off, I added some twine from We R Memory Keepers and stamped my tag with a sentiment from the “Tag Sayings” stamp from Simon Says Stamp in Rich Cocoa Memento Luxe ink.

I think I’ve got my crafty friends covered now, so I’ll be moving on to gifts of food now I think.  More to share later and I’d love to hear what you think!
