Just popping in today to share a pretty spring gift box I made with elements from the Butterfly Lullaby Collection from Crafter’s Companion. This little box measures about 4″ x 4″ x 1″…the perfect size for a special piece of jewelry that I may or may not be giving this Mother’s Day. 😉
I started out by making a basic box with my Ultimate Tool using White Pearl Shimmering Cardstock for the lid and Rose Pearl Shimmering Cardstock for the base. Then I trimmed panels from some of the pretty sheets in the 6×6 paper pad for each side and matted them with more Rose Pearl Shimmering Cardstock.
To embellish the top, I cut and embossed the Circle 3D Butterfly and some fancy flourishes from White and Forest Green Shimmering Cardstock. To make the circle really pop, I backed it with more Rose Pearl cardstock before bending the butterfly wings upwards. A little white satin ribbon holds the box closed.
