Clean and Simple Snowman Card

A good way to end a busy week is with a clean and simple card that comes together quickly.  I stamped this guy out using the new “Heartfelt Holidays” set from Wplus9:

I stamped the wreath in Old Olive ink (SU) on some Neenah Solar White cardstock (110#) and then heat embossed the sentiment in silver.  After cutting out the snowman and ribbon using the coordinating dies, I traced the snowman’s outline on the card base to line up his arms and stamped them in Early Espresso.

To match the sentiment, I stamped the snowman in Smoky Slate and generously coated him with clear Wink of Stella glitter.  His scarf and the ribbon were then layered on in Cherry Cobbler ink.  I was torn about whether to give him some eyes or a nose, but I thought it might take away from his little heart so I left him as is.  To finish, I tied a tiny bow with some green twine from American Crafts.
Thanks for stopping by!
