Continuous Sunflower Scene Card

I was inspired by Kristina’s continuous scene card from the Insider card class to create this very tall tri-fold sunflower card.  And for some reason, once I pulled out one stamp set from Lawn Fawn to stamp the flowers, I started pulling out nearly every Lawn Fawn set I own to create the rest of the card…

All of the elements were stamped in Early Espresso ink from Stampin’ Up, colored with Prismacolor pencils, and blended using a Prismacolor colorless blender.  To create the long stems for each flower, I used an Early Espresso marker to trace the edge of piece of cardstock that I had cut into a wavy shape with my craft knife…this allowed me to have perfect long parallel lines to form the stalks.

The sentiment was stamped in Old Olive ink from Stampin’ Up that seemed to match my leaves and stems pretty well.  I decided I wanted the sunflower heads to have a little more dimension, so I popped a second colored image over top and slightly off-kilter from the darker shaded flower below.  I finished the card off with a white picket fence that I designed in Silhouette Studio, cut using my Cameo, and inked using Tea Dye Distress ink.
Thanks for stopping by and I’d love to hear any comments you may have!
