Doily Edge Thank You Card

I probably send thank you cards more than any other type…so while I like them to be pretty, I also need them to be easy to create so I can make sure I thank everyone within a reasonable window of time.  This doily edge card is composed of mostly die-cuts, taking no time at all to cut and assemble thanks to the newest Edge’able Dies from Crafter’s Companion (coming to HSN tomorrow)!

Starting with a 4 ¼ x 5 ½ piece of White Pearl Shimmering Cardstock, I simply cut both the top and bottom of the panel with the Aurora Wheel Edge’able die and tied a bow of black satin ribbon around the center.  Then I popped this panel up on top of a piece of Coastal Pearl Shimmering Cardstock that had been embossed with the Scattered Dots embossing folder and matted with a piece of Black Pearl Shimmering Cardstock.

After adding the card front to a heavyweight white cardbase, I adhered a shadowed sentiment on top that I created with dies from the “Words of Endearment Set 2” and more Black and Coastal Pearl cardstock.  A splash of clear rhinestones makes this thank you card pretty and feminine.

And here’s a peek at two more Edge’able dies debuting on the 24 hour craft event tomorrow on HSN – “Cupid’s Bow” and “Countesses Crown”.  I thought they were perfect for a little girl’s princess card, but they also work great for wedding or birthday papercrafts too!

What will you be tuning in to see tomorrow?
