Easter Egg Shaker Card

Easter Egg Shaker Card by Annie Williams - Main

A new challenge began yesterday over on the Pink & Main Challenge Blog, so today I’m sharing the “Spring”-themed card I made as inspiration.  Using the “Easter Peeps” and “Bunny Costume” stamp sets along with the coordinating dies, I created a shaker card full of fun Easter eggs.

I filled my shaker window with clear sequins (Pretty Pink Posh) and lots of different eggs that I cut from patterned paper (“Hello Spring” by Doodlebug).  The “Easter Peeps dies“, “Easter Street dies“, and “Bunny Costume dies” all contain a different sized egg die, so you can get a lot of variety in your shaker window by using all three!  The window frame was created by layering a simple scalloped die (Sizzix) around a stitched circle die (Lil’ Inker Designs).

After assembling my window, I added a cute image from the “Easter Peeps” set, a greeting from “Bunny Costume“, and a few escapee sequins to the front of the card.

Thanks for stopping by today…I would love to hear your comments!  And be sure to head over to the Pink & Main Challenge Blog to enter a project for a chance to win some awesome prizes.
