Easter Flowers Shadow Box Card

Easter Flowers Shadow Box Card by Annie Williams - Main

Today I’m sharing a bright and cheerful Easter shadow box card that I cut with my Silhouette CAMEO and embellished with stamps from Pink & Main.  This cute cut file is from Lori Whitlock and can be found in the Design Store here.  She has several new shadow box card designs perfect for Easter and spring right now, but I chose this one because I thought it went well with all of the new Garden Cuties stamps like Daisy.

When you open the card, two sides fold out to reveal the shadow box in the center.  I decorated my panels with patterned paper from SEI and DCWV and then secured the card shut using Velcro fastener tabs from Tombow.  I actually punched a small flower shape out of the tab using my Martha Stewart Flower Shower Punch so that it would match my card perfectly.

The card base was cut from White Bazzill Lace Cardstock for just a little bit of texture.  This cardstock cut beautifully in my CAMEO using the textured cardstock settings in the software.

I layered a piece of scrap red cardstock underneath my shadow box center to add a little contrast and interest.  The mini flower patterned paper panels are made from SEI Bright Blossom cardstock (unfortunately, this collection is now retired).

After coloring my Daisy image with Copic markers, I cut her out, popped her up on top of a stitched oval, and added a matching stitched banner with a sentiment from the Chocolate Bunny stamp set (dies from Lil’ Inker Designs).

And with this bright and cheerful card, I want to wish you all a very Happy Easter (for those of you who celebrate)!  If you stop back on Friday, there may be another Easter treat in store for you!  😉  As always, I’d love to hear your comments!
