Edge’ables Christmas Gift Tags

We can’t focus on gift tags this week without mentioning Edge’ables dies from Crafter’s Companion.  With their detailed main images and tiny matching corner embellishments, these die sets are practically begging to be made into quick tags.  Sadly, these particular dies are no longer available (hopefully you already picked up the Christmas Edge’ables from HSN this past October!), but other designs are still available…and given their popularity, you’re sure to see new ones released next year!

To make these super quick tags, I just trimmed some Candy Red and White Pearl Shimmering Cardstock to about 2.5″ by 5″.  Then, I die-cut the corners and top of the Candy Red panel with dies from the “Christmas Present” Edge’ables set and trimmed the top corners off of the White Pearl panel at an angle with scissors.

Similarly, I used the “Festive Wreath” Edge’ables die set and Forest Green Shimmering Cardstock to create this simple tag.  Because the dies are so detailed, a pretty sentiment stamped and embossed in white was enough for me to call this gift tag complete.

Looking for an even quicker way to create a gift tag?  Here I’ve just cut Candy Red cardstock with one of the Christmas Create-A-Card Sentiment Dies (still available in this set from HSN!) and adhered it to a panel of White Pearl Cardstock.  Punch a hole in the corner and you’re done!

With the big day almost here, I hope these quick ideas give you some last-minute inspiration.  I’ve enjoyed sharing holiday projects with you this season and would love to hear how you’re faring with yours!
