Elegant Honeycomb Card

I had been eyeing up hexagon and honeycomb stamp sets for a long time, but was having a hard time finding the right one for my style.  A lot of the sets out there are kinda cutesy, and while I do like that style some of the time, they weren’t appealing to me in this case.  But then I stumbled upon this set from Close to My Heart called “Honeycomb” and I just loved all of the elegant patterns on their hexagons.  I chose to make this just a simple, one-layer card since I was stamping all these busy designs in a lot of bright colors:

This card fits the color scheme of Summer Card Camp 2’s Wrap Up day (and is slightly reminiscent of Jennifer’s take on the third sketch from that day as well).
Thanks for stopping by and would love to hear your comments!
