Happy Valentine’s Day!

Just wanted to share a quick card I made for my little niece and wish you all a happy Valentine’s Day…I hope you are spending the day with the ones you love!

I colored this cute image from the “Stuck on You” stamp set from Penny Black using Copics and cut it out using the Deco Label dies from Stampin’ Up.  Before I released it from the die, I added just a little coloring for the sky and grass using Mowed Lawn and Broken China distress inks.  After fighting with sequins for months and hating that little hole in the center of them, I discovered I preferred to use cheap party confetti on my cards instead…so my hearts are actually from a Valentine confetti pack from Hobby Lobby and cost me a fraction of the price of branded sequins.
Although hard to see in the photo, I also added clear Wink of Stella glitter to the hearts in my image.  The sentiment was stamped in Real Red ink (SU) using a stamp from the “Only Have Eyes For You” set from SSS.
I’d love to hear your comments!
I’ve entered this card in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge found here.

    That’s so cute!
I’m with you on the sequins, I also find they tend to fall off stuff!
