Kraft Easter Card

I spent some time making cards this weekend, so I have a quick share today using some Newton’s Nook stamps and paper from Basic Grey.

I stamped the image from the “Basket of Wishes” set in Versamark ink and heat embossed it in black…then colored the image using Prismacolor pencils (which blend beautifully on Neenah Desert Storm).  The overlay was made from another chunk of Neenah Desert Storm along with a piece of pretty floral paper from the Basic Grey “Fresh Cuts” 6×6 pad.  I cut the center out using the Stitched Circle dies from Lil’ Inker Designs, then stamped my greeting using Chocolate Chip ink from Stampin’ Up and combining a couple of sentiments from the “Basket of Wishes” and “Newton’s Birthday Bash” sets.

I finished my card off with a few enamel dots from My Mind’s Eye…which kinda reminded me of Easter eggs.  Thanks for stopping by and I’d love to hear your comments!

I am also entering this card in the Newton’s Nook Inky Paws Challenge found here.  There are still a few more days to enter if you’re interested!
