Lacey Hello Cards

Lacey Hello Card by Annie Williams - Side

Hello again…I’m back today with a set of quick and easy cards using the newly released “Grandma’s Lace” stamps from Pink & Main to make my own pretty patterned paper.  For the first one, I randomly stamped three of the round lace shapes in Coastal Cabana, Perfect Plum, and Smoky Slate ink (Stampin’ Up) on Whisper White cardstock to create my background.  Then, I adhered this panel to a piece of Coastal Cabana cardstock.

The second one uses the square lace shape from the set stamped very regularly using the same ink colors and adhered to a Coastal Cabana panel.

I finished both of my cards off with a strip of white ribbon and a die-cut oval (Zig Zag Stitched Ovals – My Favorite Things) supporting my sentiment.  The “hello” (Simon Says Stamp) was cut out of Perfect Plum cardstock (SU) and stacked on top of three white hello die-cuts to create a super dimensional sentiment.

I hope you enjoyed these quick cards today and will head over to Pink & Main to check out their November release!  I’ll be back soon with an autumn project made using my new Silhouette Curio…until then, I’d love to hear your comments!
