Just stopping in today for a quick card share using some stamp sets from Newton’s Nook and more of my new favorite patterned paper from the “Fresh Cuts” collection by Basic Grey:
The sentiment and heart border were embossed in gold using the “Newton’s Antics” and “Sweetheart Tails” sets. I colored the back of the vellum using markers and couldn’t find a decent way to adhere the finished banner (cut with SU Banner Framelits) to the card, so I just stapled it and colored the staple gold with a metallic gel pen.
The cats were stamped using the “Newton’s Antics” set, colored with Copics, and popped up over their little bed of hearts with SU dimensionals.

Your kitty cats are so cute! I think the staple looks fine, especially since you coated it in gold. I think it looks like it belongs there, which is something I rarely feel when I see a staple on a card! Great job!
