Peekaboo Kitty Halloween Card

Peekaboo Kitty Halloween Card by Annie Williams - Main

Hi there!  I’m back today with a quick Halloween card featuring stamps from a special release that is due in the Pink & Main store very soon!  The two soon-to-be-released sets that I used here (there will be four total) are called “Animal Faces” and “Sweet Faces Set 1” and they can be mixed and matched to create any number of cute projects with just the expression you’re looking for.  ?

After stamping my cute kitty and choosing my favorite face for her, I colored her with Copic markers to look like my cat Blooter and fussy-cut her out.  I knew I wanted her peeking over a wall (like an alley cat), and this patterned paper from my stash was the perfect Halloween backdrop (“Black Widow” by We R Memory Keepers).  The sentiment was placed in the moon using a stamp from the “Witch House” set released last month, and I gave my kitty a witch hat from the “Witch Brew” set too.

My wall was created using the “Brick Wall” embossing folder from Stampin’ Up and colored by sponging different inks over the raised bricks with a sponge dauber (Cajun Craze, Early Espresso, and Baked Brown Sugar from SU).  Then, I added a strip of washi tape from Little B to create the ledge.  To finish the card off, I die-cut the Stitched Pumpkins (Simon Says Stamp) from some white textured cardstock and used my Copic airbrush to give them a nice gradient of bright color.

I hope you enjoyed this card project and stay tuned for this adorable special release coming very soon!  Thanks a ton for stopping by today and I’d love to hear your comments!
