I’m always in need of more birthday cards, so I decided to combine this month’s Large Die of the Month and Clear Stamp of the Month Kits to create a pretty floral mini slimline card and matching envelope. I still can’t believe how many dies are in the Large Die of the Month Kit and I started by cutting several different layers out of white, kraft, and Mirror Gold cardstock.
After stamping eight of the single flowers from the Clear Stamp of the Month Kit onto white cardstock with black alcohol-friendly ink, I colored each one in with Copic markers (YR09, YR07, Y17, Y15 for the blooms and YG67, YG17, YG25 for the leaves). Then I fussycut them all out with scissors, leaving a thin white border.
The layers were adhered together with a mix of liquid glue and foam adhesive and placed on a top-folding kraft card base measuring 3.5″ x 6.5″. I tucked the colored flowers behind the sentiment panel in a ring and added lots of Gold Mix Gems to embellish. And just because I could, I made a matching yellow envelope using the Large Die of the Month Kit.
