Hello again friends! The May 2025 Club Kits from Spellbinders have been revealed and there are some classy and cute education-themed designs this month! Today I’m sharing ten card projects featuring the Large Die of the Month, Small Die of the Month, Stitching Die of the Month, Clear Stamp of the Month Kit, Glimmer Kit of the Month, Embossing Folder of the Month, 3D Embossing Folder of the Month, Clear Stamp & Die of the Month Kits, BetterPress of the Month Kit, Stencil of the Month Kit, Wax Seal of the Month Kit, and even this month’s Bonus Item (comes with purchase of the Deluxe Caboodle Club)!

LARGE DIE OF THE MONTH
This month’s Large Die of the Month Kit, “Spell It Out Fridge“, is a huge set of 17 dies that can be used to build a refrigerator-shaped card, complete with magnets, notes, and letters to spell out any message. This is a fun set to use for really any occasion, but I chose some bright colors and a cute message to create this cheery hello card for a friend.
After cutting two of the fridge-shaped pieces to create a fun card base, I cut the alphabet out of a rainbow of colors to spell my sentiment. I cut the notes, lists, and polaroids out of white or other light colors to keep the attention on the sentiment and added silver and white handles to complete the front of the card.
Inside, I added shelves cut using the Large Die of the Month Kit and filled them with the fun items from this month’s Add-On die set, “Spell It Out Fridge Staples“. You can purchase this set separately, and it contains milk, eggs, soda, and condiments…so cute! To finish off the card, I added a square panel of white cardstock on the opposite side to add a little message later.
SMALL DIE OF THE MONTH
This month’s Small Die of the Month Kit, “Classroom Chronicles“, is an adorable school-themed design that is perfect for graduation or teacher appreciation cards! The kit contains 19 cutting dies that allow you to cut a stack of books with different sentiments on the spine as well as an adorable apple. I used the dies in the kit to create a cute graduation card for one of my kids.
After cutting the apple and books out of primary colors and adding a few golden accents, I decided to add a little crayon friend using this month’s bonus item, the Yay Crayons Die Set (free with purchase of the Deluxe Caboodle!). The background was created by diecutting one side of a piece of white cardstock with the Torn Paper Edges Die Set and scoring some notebook paper lines into the panel with my scoreboard. Gold Mix Gems were added to embellish.
CLEAR STAMP & DIE OF THE MONTH KIT
If you don’t subscribe to the Deluxe Caboodle Club, you can still get some adorable crayons in this month’s Clear Stamp of the Month Kit, “Crayon Creations”. It is a set of 15 stamps with images to layer and create three different crayon characters as well as a bunch of coordinating sentiments. If your subscription includes the coordinating dies, you’ll also get 10 dies to cut the sentiments and different crayons out. I stamped the crayons in shades of green, orange, and blue with all three poses and then cut them out with the coordinating dies for this simple and cute card for one of my kids.
To create the background, I embossed a piece of white cardstock with the Wishing Stars 3D Embossing Folder before splattering a bit of each ink I used to stamp the crayons out over top. After matting it with some Raven Cardstock, I added the whole thing to a top-folding A2-sized white card base before popping the crayons and sentiment up on top with foam adhesive.
STITCHING DIE OF THE MONTH
This month’s Stitching Die of the Month is another fun and versatile set! “Stitched Study Nook“ is a set of 15 dies that cut a plush chair, lamp, cat and more to create a cozy study or living room scene. I cut the chair out of Cranberry Cardstock and the lamp out of Alabaster Cardstock and stitched them up with coordinating thread before adding gold accents for this sweet card for a friend.
After cutting the cat in the set from some Carrot Cardstock, I added stripes using Copic markers to look like my own cat. The wall design was created by embossing Seaside Cardstock with this month’s Embossing Folder of the Month. Once the floor, rug, and other accessories were added to card front, I foiled a sentiment in gold using the Holding Your Heart Sentiments BetterPress Plate & Die Set.
GLIMMER KIT OF THE MONTH
And the Glimmer Kit of the Month is a fun pencil background design! “Scribbled A Note” contains 6 Glimmer plates that can be used to create a cute pencil background as well as 5 coordinating sentiments (with a die to cut the pencil out). I applied Satin Pewter Hot Foil to white cardstock using the background plate as well as the sentiments from the kit for this colorful and cute birthday card.
Once foiled, I colored each pencil a different color using Copic markers and trimmed them at different heights to stagger them on the bottom of my card. The background was created by embossing a piece of Cosmic Sky Cardstock with the Scribbled Letter Embossing Folder (how perfect!) and adhering it to a top-folding A2-sized white card base with tape runner. To finish off the card, I popped the crayon border and sentiments up on top of the card front with foam adhesive.
EMBOSSING FOLDER OF THE MONTH
This month’s Embossing Folder of the Month…“Abstract Study“ is a fun abstract geometric pattern that is subtle enough to use for all kinds of cards. Here I embossed Malibu Cardstock with the folder and then blended Salty Ocean Distress Ink around the edges to create this simple and pretty card for a friend.
I thought the pretty flowers from the new Blossoms & Sentiments BetterPress Plate & Die Set were the perfect match for this folder, so I used the plate to apply Black Hot Foil to white cardstock and colored them with Copic markers before cutting them out with the coordinating die. A sentiment from the Holding Your Heart Sentiments BetterPress Plate & Die Set as well as a few Crystal Mix Gems finish off this simple card.
3D EMBOSSING FOLDER OF THE MONTH
This month’s 3D Embossing Folder of the Month, “Stacked Stories” is another beautiful and unique design! Similar to last month, I embossed a piece of white cardstock with the folder, masked off each book spine with low-tack tape, and blended Kitsch Flamingo, Dried Marigold, Twisted Citron, Salvaged Patina, and Shaded Lilac Distress Ink into the exposed area to create this colorful card.
Once inked, I trimmed the panel down to 4″ x 5.25″, matted it with Mirror Gold Cardstock, and added it to a top-folding A2-sized white card base with tape runner. I once again foiled a sentiment in gold using the Holding Your Heart Sentiments BetterPress Plate & Die Set and added it to the center of the card with foam adhesive.
STENCIL OF THE MONTH
This month’s Stencil of the Month, “Write On” is a set of 5 A2 background layering stencils that creates two different background patterns – a fun layered pencil background and a versatile geometric background design. I started by applying Squeezed Lemonade, Peacock Feathers, and Picked Raspberry Distress Ink through some of the stencils from the kit to create a bright and cheery pencil background reminiscent of my old Lisa Frank school supplies.
Once stenciled, I matted the background with both Mirror Gold and Raven Cardstock before adhering it to a top-folding A2-sized white card base with tape runner. To finish off this simple card, I applied Gold Hot Foil to Raven Cardstock using two sentiments from this month’s Glimmer of the Month Kit, trimmed them out into small strips, and popped them up on top of the card front with foam adhesive.
BETTERPRESS OF THE MONTH
This month’s BetterPress of the Month Kit, “From A to Z“, contains 2 press plates that create a scripty alphabet background as well as two pretty sentiments with coordinating dies. I pressed the beautiful background onto Malibu Cardstock using Coastline Metallic Ink for this simple card for a friend.
After matting the background with Cosmic Sky Cardstock, I added it to a top-folding A2-sized white card base with tape runner. The sunflower was cut from Saffron and Fern Cardstock using the Sunflower Serenade Die Set and I added some shading with Distress Inks before assembling with liquid glue. To finish off the card, I pressed a sentiment from the set onto white cardstock using the same ink and trimmed the strips down to fit next to my oversized bloom.
WAX SEAL OF THE MONTH
Lastly, here is a look at this month’s Wax Seal of the Month Kit. The “So Proud Of You” Wax Seal contains one round wax seal stamp that is perfect for tons of occasions. I pressed the design into melted Teal Mix Wax Beads and created this pretty marbled wax seal for this simple graduation card.
The background was created using last month’s Stitching Die of the Month, “Stitched Taking Notes“. I started by cutting the design out of Fog Cardstock and stitched it up with Light Cornflower Blue and Dark Dusty Rose thread to create the classic notebook paper look. I added a pencil and sentiment from this month’s Glimmer Kit of the Month and a cap from this month’s Small Die of the Month to finish off this unique graduation card.
