Happy Monday friends! Have you checked out the latest release from Rubbernecker yet? The beautiful bouquet in the Birthday Vase Stamp Set looks great colored up and on a card front all by itself…but in my house, whenever there are flowers in a vase, there are cats trying to eat them. So, I added a cute cat from the For Each Other Stamp Set that just seemed to be posed perfectly for a little mischief on this mini slimline card perfect for another cat-lover’s birthday.
- Stamp the images from the Birthday Vase and For Each Other Stamp Sets onto white cardstock using black alcohol-friendly ink.
- Color the images with Tombow ABT Pro markers and cut them out using scissors or the coordinating dies.
- Die cut white and pale blue cardstock using the largest die from the Mini Slimline Tabbed Scallop Stitch Die Set.
- Trim the bottom half-inch off of the white die-cut to use as a table to ground the colored images.
- Apply Arctic Ink onto the blue die-cut panel with a blending brush using the smaller dots stencil from the Slimline Dots Stencil Set for a bit of texture.
- Stamp a sentiment from the Birthday Vase Stamp Set in the top-left corner using Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink.
- Adhere the white die-cut strip to the bottom of the blue die-cut background panel with tape runner.
- Add the background panel to a top-folding mini slimline-sized white card base with foam adhesive.
- Pop the bouquet and cat images up on top of the card front with more foam adhesive.
