Happy Friday friends! The September release from Rubbernecker was so full of fun images, I wanted to share two more cards made with them today before the month is officially over. Let’s take a look at how these quick and cute cards came together!
HAPPY FALL SLIMLINE CARD
The gorgeous images in the new Fall Happiness Stamp Set are perfect for so many different kinds of cards…from back-to-school to camping themes or even just celebrating a warm and cozy autumn, this set has something for everyone! I added the book and backpack images to a slimline background for this simple and pretty fall card.
- Stamp the images from the Fall Happiness Stamp Set onto white cardstock using black alcohol-friendly ink.
- Color the images with Tombow ABT Pro Markers and cut them out using the coordinating dies.
- Die cut tan cardstock using the Slimline OPC Scallop Die.
- Trim red and cream cardstock to 3.25″ x 8.25″ and 3.5″ x 8.5″ respectively.
- Add the red and cream cardstock panels to a top-folding white card base measuring 3.5″ x 8.5″ with tape runner.
- Stamp a sentiment from the Fall Happiness Stamp Set onto a small panel of cream cardstock (about 2.5″ square) using Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink.
- Trim a piece of patterned paper from the Autumn Leaves 6 x 6 Paper Pad into two 2.5″ squares.
- Adhere the squares behind the die-cut background frame with foam adhesive and then add to the card base with tape runner or liquid glue.
- Pop the images up into the left and right windows with foam adhesive.
SPOOKY WOODS CARD
The images in the new Pumpkin Dress Up Stamp Set are so adorable, I had to immediately stamp all of them out to color them. I thought this cute little kitty and ghost were perfect for a spooky scene, so I added them to a stenciled woods background for this fun Halloween card.
- Stamp the images from the Pumpkin Dress Up Stamp Set onto white cardstock using black alcohol-friendly ink.
- Color the images in with Tombow ABT Pro Markers and cut them out using the coordinating dies.
- Apply Carved Pumpkin, Picked Raspberry, Seedless Preserves, and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Inks through the Winter Tree Stencil onto black cardstock using a foam blending tool. I used a dabbing motion instead of the typical circular blending motion to apply the ink heavily onto the paper for a more vivid look.
- Once dry, die cut the panel using the largest die from the Nested Deckle Rectangle Die Set.
- Stamp a sentiment from the Pumpkin Dress Up Stamp Set onto white cardstock using Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink and trim it out with a pair of scissors.
- Trim a piece of black cardstock to 4.25″ x 5.5″ and adhere it to a top-folding A2-sized white card base with tape runner.
- Add the stenciled background panel on top using foam adhesive.
- Pop the colored images and sentiments up on top of the card front with more foam adhesive.
