Have you seen the latest release from Papertrey Ink? I am thrilled to be a guest designer for them this month as they release tons of new and beautiful autumn and Christmas-themed products. Today I wanted to focus on some of the Halloween stamps and dies and share these two cute cards perfect for sending a spooky hello!
I can never resist a black cat stamp, so the Boo Black Cat Stamp Set was the first thing I picked out to play with from the release. I stamped the cat onto some white cardstock with black ink before cutting it out with the coordinating die and then stamped the moon and spider onto a separate white panel with Versamark Ink before embossing it in silver. After it cooled down, I blended Carved Pumpkin, Picked Raspberry, Seedless Preserves, and Black Soot Distress Ink over the entire panel to create a spooky night sky.
For a little extra cuteness, I stuck my frazzled cat inside of the large pumpkin from the Fall Bouquet Stamp Set which was stamped in black ink, colored with Copic markers, and cut out using the coordinating dies. After adding a sentiment from the Spooktacular Halloween Kit onto a strip of black cardstock, I quickly assembled my card with both tape runner and foam adhesive and added a few silver glitter stars cut with the Boo Black Cat Die Set.
This next easy card uses tons of elements from the Spooktacular Halloween Kit. I loved these little mason jars and decided to create a pumpkin jar like those trendy spray-painted candy corn ones on Pinterest using Carved Pumpkin and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Inks. The stem, leaves, and faces are all included in the kit too!
For the smaller jar, I added a web and spider in the jar and topped it off with a cute witches hat that I stamped with a sentiment. I added both jars to a simple kraft card base cut with the new Cover Plate Pumpkins Die for a little texture.
