Ready for a peek at the newest products from Divinity Designs? January’s release is full of fun papers and dies perfect for Valentine’s Day as well as a whole slew of adorable critter stamp/die duos that can be used for your valentines and beyond. It’s no secret that I love foxes, so I jumped on the chance to color up the Hello Foxy set with my Copic markers for this card (bonus – you get a bunch of fun sentiments you can stamp inside that cutie’s sign and I just happened to love this one).
To give them a fun little scene to play in, I die cut a heart-shaped opening in the card base using the Ornate Hearts dies and added a piece of acetate behind it to form a window peeking at the colorful panel inside the card. A cute pattern from the Sweet Hearts Collection paper pad was the perfect backdrop for these foxes in love.
If you love fancy fold cards, then this month’s Triple Step With Layers die set is a fun new design for you to play with! I cut the base layer out of some red shimmer cardstock and added layers cut from the Sweet Hearts Collection paper pad. Then I decorated each step with tons of die-cut hearts, tags, and sentiments.
The Valentine’s Day stamp/die duo has all of the sentiments you’ll need for your V-Day projects. Here I’ve added a big die-cut greeting from the set on the first step (on top of some hearts cut using the Layering Hearts dies) along with a stamped greeting from the same set (cut with the Sentiment Strips dies). Then, I embellished the remaining steps with cute Mini Tags cut from red shimmer and white glitter cardstock along with some gold embellishments for a little pop of color.
