Happy Sunday friends! I’m back today with one more look at some of the beautiful new floral stamps released in the Rubbernecker store last month. With so many color layering and outline image options, this gorgeous new release has something for everyone!
I loved the abstract watercolor look of the Summer Bouquet Stamp Set and thought it would look great in early autumn colors and placed in a fun die-cut watering can. To complete the fun farmhouse look, I added a tone-on-tone woodgrain background for a bright and cheery thank you card.
- Stamp the layers of the bouquet onto white cardstock using the Summer Bouquet Stamp Set and Grass, Apricot, and Custard Ink.
- Fussy-cut the image out with scissors, leaving a tiny white border to help the bouquet pop in front of the bright background.
- Die cut white cardstock using the Large Watering Can Die Set.
- Color the die-cut with Copic markers, adding tons of shading around the edges for an uber dimensional look.
- Assemble the watering can with liquid glue.
- Ink up the Wood Grain Fence Background Stamp with Whisper Ink and stamp it onto some aqua cardstock for a tone-on-tone look.
- Die cut the panel using the largest die from the Nested Deckle Rectangles Die Set.
- Stamp a sentiment from the Best Friends Etc Stamp Set onto white cardstock using Whisper Ink and trim it out into a small strip.
- Adhere the woodgrain background to a top-folding A2-sized white card base with tape runner.
- Pop the bouquet and sentiment strip up on top of the card front with foam adhesive.
- Add iridescent gems around the bouquet with liquid glue.
