New Springtime Fun Release from Rubbernecker

Have you seen the new Springtime Fun Release from Rubbernecker Stamps? This release is full of gorgeous spring florals, adorable animals, and cute Easter icons perfect for all of your springtime projects! We’re currently buried under several inches of snow in my neck of the woods, so I pulled out the Darling Dahlias Stamp Set to create a bold and bright friendship card.

Here is a peek at most of the stamps in the release…such beautiful images! There are eight new clear photopolymer stamp sets as well as a set of coordinating dies for each.

I started by stamping all of the images from the Darling Dahlias Stamp Set onto Bristol paper using Nocturne Versafine Clair ink. After coloring them up brightly with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens, I fussycut them out with scissors so that I wouldn’t have a white border, although you could certainly use the coordinating dies to save a little time.

TIP: You can easily bend the stem stamp in the set before stamping so that all of your flower stems can point different directions!

The pattern on the background panel was super easy to create. To fit all of the flower images on one card, I knew I would need to make an A7 card…so I trimmed a piece of white cardstock to 6.875″ x 4.875″ and cut down the center with the Slimline Geometric X Die (a perfect fit!). Before adhering it to a side-folding 5″ x 7″ white card base with foam adhesive, I added a little teal color to the base with Whisper Ink and a blending brush.

A sentiment from the Kittie Says Friends Stamp Set was stamped in Versamark Ink onto Pitch Black Cardstock before adding white embossing powder and melting it with a heat tool. Then I die cut it out using one of the Nested Deckle Rectangle Dies (cut once positioning the die at the top left corner, and then cut again positioned at the lower right corner).

I adhered the floral images to the card front with one or two layers of foam adhesive to give the arrangement lots of depth. Then I popped the sentiment at the base of the stems with two layers of foam adhesive.
