There’s just something about a snowman that I can’t resist. Whether they’re real snowmen, snowmen cookies, or snowmen stamps…I love them all! So when I saw this adorable new stamp set from Rubbernecker, I knew right away that I wanted to create a pretty slimline card showing these guys off in a frosty winter landscape. And it’s super easy to make!
- Trim a piece of white cardstock to 3″ x 8″.
- Stamp the tree from the Wintery Friends Stamp Set across the panel using Versafine Clair Nocturne ink, varying the height and spacing between the trees slightly for a little interest.
- Lightly blend Rose Ink up from the bottom of the panel and Sky Ink down from the top of the panel with a blending brush to create a pale winter sky.
- Die cut silver glitter cardstock using the Slimline OPC Squares Die.
- Die cut white shimmer cardstock using the curvy die from the Slimline Waves die set to create a snowbank.
- Stamp the snowmen and present from the Snowmen With Presents stamp set onto white cardstock using black Copic-friendly ink.
- Color the images with Copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating dies.
- Mat the inked tree background panel with blue shimmer cardstock and adhere to a top-folding slimline-sized white card base with tape runner.
- Adhere the snowbank to the bottom of the background panel with liquid glue or tape runner, then pop the silver glitter frame up on top using foam adhesive.
- Stamp the sentiment from the Christmas Inchies Stamp Set onto white cardstock using Azure Ink. Die cut it out using one of the windows in the Slimline Inside Ovals With Holes Die.
- Adhere the colored images and the sentiment to the card front using foam adhesive.
