Spellbinders March 2022 Club Kits

Happy March friends! Yesterday was reveal day for the March 2022 Club Kits from Spellbinders and there are so many gorgeous designs perfect for springtime this month.  Today I’m sharing ten card projects featuring the Large Die of the Month, Small Die of the Month, Glimmer Kit of the Month, Clear Stamp of the Month Kit, Embossing Folder of the Month, Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month, Card Kit of the Month, and Clear Stamp & Die of the Month Kits.

LARGE DIE OF THE MONTH KIT

This month’s Large Die of the Month Kit, “Kaleidoscope Floral Slimline“, is a set of 6 dies that can be used to cut a huge floral background for a slimline card plus accompanying layers and flowers.  I used all of the dies included in the kit to create this bold slimline card perfect for sending a springtime hello to a friend.

I first cut Mirror Gold Cardstock once and Onyx Cardstock twice with the large background die and adhered them together for a little dimension before adding it to my card front.  Then I cut the kaleidoscope flower and other layers out of purples, pinks, and teals for a bright spring feel.

The sentiment was foiled in gold using one of the plates from Yana’s Special Sentiments Foil Plate Set and popped up on top with foam adhesive.  To finish the card off, I added a bunch of Gold Mix Gems for some extra sparkle.

SMALL DIE OF THE MONTH KIT

If you love interactive cards or even just critters, then this month’s Small Die of the Month Kit is definitely for you!  The “Floating Bunny” Die Set contains 14 dies that allow you to cut a sweet bunny who either swings in the clouds or floats up and away with a balloon bouquet.  I used the kit to create a simple mini slimline card perfect for spring birthdays!

To create the background, I die cut Glacier Cardstock using one of the Precision Layering Mini Slimline Dies and embossed it with the latest Embossing Folder of the Month for some texture.  I cut the clouds from white cardstock and blended a little Tumbled Glass Distress Ink on the bottoms as well as around the edges of the background for some depth.

After cutting and assembling the bunny and balloons, I foiled a simple birthday sentiment in gold onto white cardstock using the Mini Everyday Sentiments Plate Set and my Glimmer Hot Foil Machine.  I love how simple and cute this little card turned out!

GLIMMER KIT OF THE MONTH

And speaking of beautiful Glimmer plates…this month’s Glimmer Kit of the Month is one you’ll definitely pick up again and again!  “Glimmer Edge Roses” contains six Glimmer plates along with six coordinating dies to create stunning foiled rose bouquets for any kind of card.

I applied Aura Hot Foil to white cardstock using the kit and then colored the images with Tombow ABT Pro Markers before cutting them out with the coordinating dies.  Then I foiled a sentiment using the Be Bold Glimmer Sentiments Plate Set to match.

After embossing Teal Topaz Cardstock using the latest Embossing Folder of the Month, I added a white oval cut with the Fluted Classics Ovals Die Set.  The foiled roses, leaves, and sentiments were arranged on top and adhered down with foam adhesive.  A sprinkling of Aura AB Gems finishes off this bright thank you card.

EMBOSSING FOLDER OF THE MONTH

This month’s Embossing Folder of the Month, “Garden Path“, is a beautiful addition to your oversized folder collection.  It’s pretty floral design and large dimensions (the folder is 5.5″ x 8.5”!) make it perfect for spring cards of all sizes.

I trimmed a piece of white cardstock to 4″ x 5.25″ before embossing it with the Garden Path Embossing Folder.  Then I lightly blended a pastel rainbow of Distress Inks around the edges to bring out the design a bit more.

The sentiment was foiled onto white cardstock using Gold Hot Foil and then Be Bold Glimmer Sentiments Plate Set before cutting it out with the coordinating dies and popping it up on the center of the card front with foam adhesive.  Then I added a few simple flowers and leaves cut using the Large Die of the Month Kit.

AMAZING PAPER GRACE DIE OF THE MONTH

And I couldn’t let March go by without creating a fun card for St. Patrick’s Day…the ornate designs in this month’s Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month were perfect for it!  “Bella Ovalette” is a set of 12 dies that can be used to cut beautiful decorative background panels as well as some pretty flowers and leaves to embellish.

I cut all of the layers using Fern, Rainforest, Mirror Gold, and white cardstock for a lucky Irish feel.  After layering them all up, I popped the beautiful design up on top of 5″ x 7″ card base with pretty embossed pattern (Geo Screen Embossing Folder) and a touch of gold matting.

To embellish, I cut some of the flowers out of Beeswax Cardstock and added a little Carved Pumpkin Distress Ink to the centers before layering them up and adding a Gold Mix Gem to the center.  Then I added a fitting sentiment foiled in gold using the soon-to-be-released Celebrate You Glimmer Sentiments Plate Set.

CLEAR STAMP & DIE OF THE MONTH KIT

And this month’s Clear Stamp & Die of the Month Kit is not to be missed either!  “Spring Gnomes” is an adorable set of 15 stamps with cute gnomes, their sweet springtime accessories, and fun sentiments.  If your subscription includes the coordinating dies, you’ll also get 15 dies to cute every one of those images and sentiments out!

I stamped many of the images from the kit out onto white cardstock using black alcohol-friendly ink before coloring them in with Tombow ABT Pro Markers and cutting them out with the coordinating dies.  To create a pretty springtime scene for them, I first embossed a panel of Glacier Cardstock using the Garden Path Embossing Folder and adhered it to a top-folding A2-sized white card base with foam adhesive.

The clouds were cut using the latest Small Die of the Month Kit and inked again on the bottom with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.  To create the hills, I cut Rainforest Cardstock using the Color Block Scenic Scape Die Set and added them to bottom of the card before popping up all of my cute images in the scene with foam adhesive.

CARD KIT OF THE MONTH

Lastly, this month’s Card Kit of the Month, “Have A Springy Day” is chock full of beautiful springtime images, sweet sentiment stamps, and an adorable die set that cuts both lambs and bunnies!  I created four cards with many of the elements in the kit…above you can see the sweet die-cut images, some of the chipboard accents, and one of the stamped sentiments included.

And here are a couple of cards made with some of the pretty patterned paper, beautiful die-cuts, and fun glitter foam sentiments in the kit as well.  I love how easy it is to make fast and cute cards with these kits!
