Hi friends! I’m so excited to share another new collection from Spellbinders with you today…the Stitched Alphabet Collection. With every lowercase letter of the alphabet plus a beautiful ampersand, this collection can be used to spell out any name or greeting that your stitching heart desires! The stitching is minimal on these letters, so they’re perfect for beginners…or leave them as-is for a beautiful look as well (see below for an example).
I cut the letters to spell “L–O–V–E” out of white cardstock and stitched them in shades of pink, yellow, blue, and green. Then I popped them all up on top of their coordinating shadow layers cut out of Mirror Gold Cardstock. The rest of the sentiment was foiled in gold using the Love Enclosed Glimmer Plate Set (a previous Glimmer of the Month Kit).
To assemble the card, trim a piece of pretty patterned paper to 4″ x 5.25″ and adhere it to a top-folding A2-sized white card base with tape runner. Stagger the stitched letters across the card front and adhere down with liquid glue, then pop the foiled sentiment up underneath with a little foam adhesive. Embellish with a few pretty daisies cut from white, Mirror Gold, and Fern Cardstock using the Mini Blooms & Sprigs Die Set.
