Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog Hop

Happy Friday y’all!  Today I’m excited to be playing along in the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop using some super cute Rubbernecker stamps and dies.  Truthfully, if you were to find me at a café, I’d be more likely to order tea or hot chocolate, but the great thing about most coffee stamps and dies is that they work for either!

I started with creating my own patterned paper by just stamping the coffee cup and bean from the Coffee Blanket Stamp Set over and over on some Neenah Environmental Desert Storm Cardstock with Mocha Ink.  Then I added a really fun sentiment called Out of Jail in the corner with Versamark Ink and white embossing powder before diecutting the whole panel with one of the Nested Deckle Rectangle Dies.

I stamped the cat and stacked cup images from the same Coffee Blanket Stamp Set in Obsidian Amalgam Ink onto some Neenah Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock before coloring them with Copic markers and diecutting them with the coordinating die set.  Then I took one of the frames I had die cut from white cardstock using the Rectangle Combo Die and colored it to match my kitty’s scarf perfectly with the same shades of Copic markers.

Assembly?  Lots of foam adhesive!  Seriously, each layer was adhered to the one beneath with foam adhesive for tons of dimension. 🙂
