Have you been shopping all of the early Black Friday sales? With Thanksgiving so late this year, so many shops have already been putting out their best deals…and I’ve definitely done some damage! So today I just wanted to do a quick show and tell of a project I created with one of the items that is free with purchase from now through tomorrow, November 28th.
If you’re a fan of these collectible pins, then you’ll love this cute Doodlebug Design Holly Berry pin made exclusively for Scrapbook-com (normally $10, but you can add it to your cart for free until tomorrow). I have a crafty friend who loves enamel pins, so I wanted to find a fun way to send it to her and came up with this gift tag card.
My card and tag are made with the Here Comes Santa Claus collection from Doodlebug…it’s an older collection, but still works with the pin because many of their collections use a similar color palette. I chose a bunch of pretty patterns from the collection that I thought looked good together, snipped out a few sentiment strips and a notecard for the tag, and layered it all up with some coordinating cardstock mats from my stash.
The pocket that I adhered to the front was die cut using an older die from my stash, but this one from Lawn Fawn is very similar and could be used in its place. Any tag that is about the size of a gift card would fit into the pocket, and it was the perfect place to attach the cute pin I was giving as a gift.
