Have you seen all of the gorgeous layered florals from Rubbernecker? Gerbera daisies are my favorite kind of flower, so I knew right away that I wanted to stamp all of the beautiful blooms from the Layered Daisy Bouquet Stamp Set in tons of bright colors. Once I had a pile of bright flowers, I arranged them in clusters atop a pretty plaid background for this fun card perfect for brightening a friend’s day.
- Stamp the three different sizes of flowers from the Layered Daisy Bouquet Stamp Set onto white cardstock using Color Fuse Sets #1, #2, #4, and #5 to create pretty pink, yellow, orange, and coral blooms.
- Stamp the leaves from the Layered Daisy Bouquet Stamp Set onto white cardstock using Grass and Basil Inks.
- Cut all of the blooms and leaves out using the coordinating dies.
- Die cut white and Mirror Silver Cardstock using the Plaid Cover Die.
- Trim a tiny bit of the edge off of the right and bottom sides of the silver die-cut and adhere it behind the white die-cut with liquid glue, allowing the silver layer to peek out a bit as a shadow.
- Stamp a sentiment from the Color My World Florals Stamp Set onto white cardstock using Versamark Ink, add silver embossing powder, and melt it with a heat tool.
- Trim the sentiment out into a small strip with scissors or a paper trimmer.
- Trim a piece of Glacier Cardstock to 4.25″ x 5.5″ and adhere to a top-folding A2-sized white card base with tape runner.
- Add the plaid background on top with liquid glue.
- Adhere the flower and leaves in the top-left and bottom-right corners of the card front using a mix of liquid glue and foam adhesive for lots of dimension.
- Trim off any overhanging die-cuts with scissors.
- Pop the sentiment up in the center of the card with foam adhesive.
