If you haven’t checked out the new Fall & Winter Collection from LDRS Creative yet, you are seriously missing out! Today I’m sharing two cute cards made with some of the autumn stamps, stencils, dies, and patterned paper that are part of this adorable release.
The images in the Spook Ya Later Alligator stamp set are so unique, I couldn’t wait to color them up with my Copic markers. After cutting them out with the coordinating dies, I thought they would look great in a spooky field under a moonlit sky.
To create the scene, I simply adhered a piece of black cardstock and a fence cut with the Country Fence Pocket Die on top of one of the gorgeous patterned papers in the Haunted Halloween Paper Pad using foam adhesive. Then I stamped a greeting from the Spook Ya Later stamp set with Raven Ink on white cardstock and trimmed it out to pop up in the top left corner. After adding my fun characters to the scene with foam adhesive, I drew a few moonlit clumps of grass in the field with a white gel pen and added a moon from the By The Light of the Moon die set to finish off the card.
I couldn’t bear to cover up much of this gorgeous new Sunflower Stencil design, so this card is rather simple to create. I taped my stencil down to a piece of white cardstock and just had fun blending Lantern Yellow, Tangerine Dream, In Your Face Orange, Key Lime Pie, Evergreen, Iced Tea, and Coffee Bean Hybrid Inks over the entire panel with blender brushes.
After trimming it down slightly, I adhered it to a top-folding A2-sized white card base with foam adhesive. Then I cut warm brown cardstock with the Thank You Die three times and adhered the layers together with liquid glue for a nice, bold sentiment . This card just screams autumn to me!
