Welcome to a new month friends! It’s reveal day for the June 2022 Club Kits from Spellbinders and there are so many fun and pretty designs this month! Today I’m sharing nine card projects featuring the Large Die of the Month, Small Die of the Month, Glimmer Kit of the Month, Clear Stamp of the Month Kit, Embossing Folder of the Month, Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month, Card Kit of the Month, and Clear Stamp & Die of the Month Kits.
LARGE DIE OF THE MONTH
This month’s Large Die of the Month Kit, “Paisley Dreams“, is a huge set of 17 dies that can be used to cut a beautiful layered paisley background as well as a pretty sentiment. You can fill the background of an A2 card with two of the layered designs, but I chose to accent my sentiment with just one of the groupings for this bright and pretty hello card.
After cutting Mirror Gold, Pink Sand, Wild Berry, Persimmon, and Fern Cardstock with the main design, I pieced it all together with liquid glue. Then I added a sentiment from the Mini Everyday Sentiments Glimmer Plate Set onto white cardstock with Gold Hot Foil and cut it out using one of the dies in the kit.
I added all of this to a background created from some Portobello Cardstock that I embossed with this month’s Embossing Folder of the Month. To finish off the card, I added some Gold Mix Gems.
SMALL DIE OF THE MONTH
For even more beautiful background and border options, this month’s Small Die of the Month Kit, “Stylized Border Trio”, contains 9 dies that allow you to cut gorgeous border designs that can be layered or used alone for complete or partial backgrounds or just an edge detail. I used the kit to create a fun ombre background for this simple thank you card.
I cut Waterfall, Teal Topaz, and Lagoon Cardstock with one of the intricate borders from the kit and layered them to cover about two-thirds of the front of an A2-sized white card base. Then I stamped a greeting from this month’s Clear Stamp of the Month Kit in Versamark Ink, added gold embossing powder, and melted it with a heat tool.
To embellish, I added a single bloom cut with the Be Bold Blooms and Mini Blooms & Sprigs Die Sets from Pink Sand, Wild Berry, Peridot, and Mirror Gold Cardstock as well as a couple of Gold Mix Gems.
GLIMMER KIT OF THE MONTH
Following with the paisley background theme, this month’s Glimmer Kit of the Month is gorgeous and one you can use in so many different ways! “Paisley Glimmer” contains four Glimmer plates along with 5 coordinating dies to create a gorgeous foiled background along with some beautiful sentiments.
Although you can foil an entire background for a truly eye-catching look, I added just a strip of paisley down the left side of some white cardstock with Rainbow Hot Foil for a simpler look. I then matted the background with Royal Amethyst Cardstock before adhering it to a top-folding A2-sized white card base with tape runner.
I chose one of the sentiments from the kit and foiled it with the same colors before cutting it out with the coordinating die and popping it up on top of the card front using a couple of shadow layers cut from more Royal Amethyst Cardstock. To embellish, I added a few Crystal Mix Gems.
EMBOSSING FOLDER OF THE MONTH
This month’s Embossing Folder of the Month, “Botanical Diamond“, is a beautiful and super versatile addition to your oversized folder collection. Its subtle design reminds me very much of expensive handbags and luggage, so it works on all kinds of cards!
I trimmed a piece of Teal Topaz Cardstock to 4″ x 5.25″ before embossing it with the Botanical Diamond Embossing Folder and adhering it to a top-folding A2-sized white card base with foam adhesive.
To keep this card simple, I just added a layered sunburst focal point and sentiment that were stamped and die cut using this month’s Clear Stamp & Die of the Month.
CLEAR STAMP & DIE OF THE MONTH KIT
This month’s Clear Stamp of the Month Kit follows along with the cute paisley theme too. “Paisley Bouquet” is a fun set of 10 stamps with fun paisley designs that can be layered or pieced together for various backgrounds along with some sweet sentiments. If your subscription includes the coordinating dies, you’ll also get 6 dies to cut the images and sentiments out.
I stamped several of the images onto Pink Sand, Dahlia, Rainforest, and Raindrop Cardstock with Versamark Ink, added white embossing powder, and melted it with a heat tool. After cutting them all out with the coordinating dies, I arranged them on top of some Partly Cloudy Cardstock before adhering them down with liquid glue.
Once adhered, I trimmed off any overhanging die-cuts with a pair of scissors and added the background to a top-folding A2-sized white card base with tape runner. Then I just added a pretty sentiment from the set in the center to finish off the card.
AMAZING PAPER GRACE DIE OF THE MONTH
And how fun is this month’s Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month?! The “Pop-Up 3D Vignette Road Trip” is a huge set of 26 dies that can be used to cut an amazing 3D convertible that folds flat for mailing and comes complete with all of the accessories to fill your car with whoever you want to take a long ride with.
I created a fun wedding card with this set, but you add different sentiments to the back as well as a customize the passengers of your vehicle to represent the whole family!
CARD KIT OF THE MONTH
Lastly, this month’s Card Kit of the Month, “Party Hat & Streamers” is chock full of beautiful party images, fun sentiment stamps, and a super cute die set that cuts a 3D party hat! I created three cards with many of the elements in the kit, but could have easily made a ton more!
Here is a closer look at the party hat die set. The hat, flowers, and sentiment were so cute, I simply added them to a confetti design from the patterned paper pad in the kit and called it done!
For this easy card, I stamped one of the sentiments from the kit onto some white cardstock and added it to a simple border of party fan die-cuts layered over some more pretty patterned paper.
And I couldn’t resist these adorable dimensional party hats included in the kit! I added a trio on top of some more of the fun patterned paper and finished the card off with a foiled chipboard sentiment.
