Happy Monday friends! Today I’m sharing inspiration for the rest of the January 2022 Club Kits from Spellbinders (if you missed my first club kit post, you can click here to see it). The Amazing Paper Grace Kit of the Month is so beautiful this month and I had a blast creating this ornate love card!
This month’s die set, “Pop Up Vignette Coffee Tea or Me“, creates a stunning little 3D tea cup that you can decorate with the included flowers or even add the fun teabag element. Here I chose to cut that gorgeous layered teacup and just add it to a pretty 5″ x 7″ background for a sweet love card.
I simply cut the cup from white, Mirror Silver, Glacier, and Portobello Cardstock and, once assembled, tucked a few flowers cut from Pink Sand, Dahlia, and Rainforest Cardstock inside. The background was cut from Pink Sand and white cardstock using the Wistful Window Die Set and I added a cute sentiment foiled in silver using the Cup Of Kindness Hot Foil Plate Set.
CARD KIT OF THE MONTH
This month’s Card Kit of the Month, “Truly, Madly, Deeply“, is full of gorgeous florals, sweet images, and a cute banner die set that can be used year-round. I loved the beautiful patterns in the paper pad, so mixed them up on all five cards. My first card uses the die set included to create a pretty banner, surrounded with some of the foiled die-cut shapes and glitter foam hearts. On the next card, I added one of the die-cut tags included in the kit to a fun patterned paper background and embellished with a few more die-cut shapes and glitter foam hearts.
I used even more of the gorgeous patterned paper in the kit to create fun backgrounds on these two cards. After adding a few foiled die-cut shapes and a pretty chipboard element, I had two fast and easy cards!
And I couldn’t wait to use the stamp set in the kit! The pretty floral heart image was begging to be watercolored, so I stamped it in Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink and quickly colored it with my Tombow Dual Brush Pens before fussycutting it out. With some soft plaid paper and a die-cut sentiment, I love how this simple card turned out.
