I loved so many of the club kits this month that I wanted to have another play with several of them as I created two more fun cards. The first is a pretty valentine in bold colors that uses the Small Die and Embossing Folder of the Month, while the second is a sweet floral card made with the Stitching Die and Large Die of the Month.

BOLD VALENTINE’S DAY CARD
For this card, I started by cutting the ampersand and flowers from the Small Die of the Month Kit out of shades of gold and bright orange, pink, and red. Once assembled with liquid glue, I arranged them on top of a heart cut from Royal Amethyst Cardstock using the largest die from the Essential Hearts Die Set.
To create the background, I trimmed a piece of Onyx Cardstock to 4″ x 5.25″ and embossed it with the Stylized Trellis Embossing Folder before adding it to a top-folding A2-sized white card base with foam adhesive. After adding the focal image to the front of the card, I cut the rest of the sentiment out of Mirror Gold and white cardstock using the Be Bold Lowercase Alphabet Die Set and adhered it around the ampersand. Gold Mix Gems were used to embellish.
STITCHED FLORAL FOR YOU CARD
My next card uses the Stitching Die of the Month as an elaborate frame with some pretty flowers tucked around a simple sentiment. I started by cutting Waterfall Cardstock with the Nested Stitch Burst Die Set and then stitched the design with both white and purple variegated thread. After stamping a sentiment from the Sentimental Greetings Stamp Set directly onto the center of a white card base with purple ink, I added the stitched frame on top with foam adhesive.
Next, I cut several flowers, branches, and leaves out of shades of pink, orange, purple, green, and gold, and assembled them with liquid glue. I tucked some of the flowers and leaves behind the frame and popped some up on top for tons of dimension. I love how colorful this card turned out!
