Happy Monday friends! I’m excited to be back today to share a couple of projects made with the new Stitched Numbers & More Collection from Spellbinders. (Check out the entire April release here…so much good stuff!) This collection contains stitched number and punctuation dies that coordinate perfectly with the previously released Stitched Alphabet Collection. I used both of the new die sets to create this pretty springtime birthday card, but be sure to check out the additional samples using this collection below.
I started by cutting Velvet Rose and Forest Cardstock with the three and nine from the Stitched Numbers Die Set and the exclamation point from the Stitched Punctuation & Sympbols Die Set. After stitching them all using three strands of white thread, I popped them up on top of a piece of patterned paper from the Gather At Home Paper Pad matted with Mirror Gold Cardstock. I then cut Peach Sorbet and Sage Cardstock using the branch from the new Stylish Oval Hello You Floral Die Set, snipped it apart after assembling it, and tucked leaves and flowers behind the focal point. To finish off this simple and pretty card, I added a secondary sentiment foiled in Gold Hot Foil using the Everyday Sentiments II Glimmer Plate Set.
And here are three more projects I created with this fun collection!
- The first card uses both the Stitched Numbers and Stitched Punctuation Die Sets again for a cute 5th birthday card. Instead of stitching, I just added some gems for a sparkly look! Then I created a sweet background with the Puff Dotty 3D Embossing Folder and Puff Dotty Stencil and added additional letters cut with the Be Bold Lowercase Alphabet Die Set.
- I love adding postscripts to my cards and emails so I stitched one on this next card instead! After cutting the letters and periods out of pink cardstock, I stitched them with variegated pink thread for a pretty ombre look. The background is from the new Floral Friendship Paper Pad, and I added a few sprigs and flowers created with the Be Bold Blooms Die Set as well as a sentiment from the Mini Sincere Sentiments Glimmer Plate Set to finish off the card.
- Lastly, I cut a bunch of numbers and punctuation for this fun and slightly snarky 34th birthday card. After stitching them with gold metallic thread, I added them to a simple background embossed partially with the Circle Illusion 3D Embossing Folder and foiled with a cute sentiment from the Inside Card Glimmer Sentiments Plate Set.
